Heather Gunn McQuillan, DVM is a veterinary educator, consultant, retreat facilitator and former Veterinary Teaching Hospital Director and Assistant Dean. For over two decades in the profession, she has worked across clinical practice, academia, leadership, operations, business strategy and wellbeing.
She has:
- Led veterinary teams through organizational change and financial turnaround
- Supported hundreds of students and clinicians through career transitions
- Delivered leadership training and professional skills education
- Facilitated mindfulness and wellbeing programs for individuals and teams
- Founded and developed Nature Space Resort & Retreat Centre, a wellbeing-focused hospitality and retreat business based on Prince Edward Island
Heather’s work blends evidence-based leadership and communication models with trauma-informed teaching, mindfulness, emotional intelligence and practical business strategy.
